Namaz or Namaz (Persian: ناماز‎‎) or Salat or Salah (Arabic: صلاة‎‎) is a daily ritual of worship in Islam. Prayers have to be performed in a specific manner which is described in the Quran and Hadith. It is a daily obligatory religious act for Muslims. However, apart from the obligatory daily prayers, there are various prayers which are time-based or subject-based.
