MQTT Nova Broker transforms your Android device into a powerful MQTT server. Run a lightweight, high-performance MQTT broker directly on your smartphone or tablet without any external hardware or cloud services. Your data stays local, your control stays complete.
This app provides complete MQTT 3.1.1 protocol support with TLS/SSL encryption for secure IoT communication. WebSocket connections allow web clients and browsers to connect directly to your broker. The background service keeps your broker running even when the app is minimized, making it perfect for continuous smart home operation. A home screen widget provides instant access to start, stop, and monitor your broker without even opening the app.
The intelligent alert system ensures you never miss critical IoT events. Create custom alert rules that trigger when specific messages arrive on your topics. Configure conditional triggers based on message content, values, or patterns. Choose from many sound options for audio notifications or enable powerful voice alerts that speak your messages aloud. Voice alerts support 31 languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and many more. Customize alert priority levels, vibration patterns, and notification duration to match your needs. Preview your voice alerts before saving and use message templates for quick setup. MQTT Nova Broker works perfectly with all popular IoT microcontrollers and development boards. Connect your Arduino Uno, Arduino Mega, Arduino Nano, and Arduino MKR boards using Ethernet or WiFi shields. ESP32 and ESP8266 boards like NodeMCU, Wemos D1 Mini, ESP32-CAM, ESP32-WROOM, and ESP32-S3 connect seamlessly over WiFi. Raspberry Pi models including Raspberry Pi 4, Raspberry Pi 3, Raspberry Pi Zero W, and Raspberry Pi Pico W work excellently as MQTT clients.
The app also supports STM32 microcontrollers, Teensy boards, BeagleBone Black, Orange Pi, Banana Pi, and NVIDIA Jetson Nano. Connect professional industrial controllers like Siemens S7, Allen Bradley PLC, and Modbus devices through MQTT gateways.
