Inspired by math rock and progressive metal bands, MultiMet is a sequential metronome generator designed to be the ultimate utility for any musical situation you can think of
The main tool which separates this app from others is the tempo segment - set a bpm and time signature (or polyrhythm) with a bar/cycle count for one part of a song, then add a new segment with all new settings to be played next in sequence. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination and creativity.
KEY FEATURES
• Sequenced setlists — play a set of metronomes one after the other, as if it was a song with time signature and tempo changes
• Gradual tempo ramps — speed up or slow down from segment to the other, and set when it's time to do so
• Polyrhythms — set up to 5 layered ratios with each layer having their own individual sound
• Loop regions — select a group of segments to loop many times, with the option to cut the last pass short for...
• Alternate endings — add more segments at the end of a loop, then bounce back and forth until you're ready to move on
• Infinite loop mode — focus on one segment or looped segment until you're comfortable to play the setlist completely
• Bar-counting record mode — play how you think the song goes without second guessing of how many bars there are
• Save and Load files — make a setlist of segments for a set or make it one song and save it, then load in for later
• Export to WAV, MP3, MIDI and TXT— Generate audio of the sequenced click track for recording a song along to, export a MIDI file full of tempo and time signature changes and then import it into a professional DAW like ProTools, and finally pull up quick text details to share notes with others
• Six visual themes, all with dark/light modes
• Per-segment customization — use colors, label names and images to give each tempo character.
• 12 languages supported - English, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, French, Korean, German, Russian, Hindi, and Arabic
• Haptic beat feedback, count-off toggle, and other quality-of-life options. Have any suggestions/feedback? drop an email
• DESIGNED WITH TABLET IN MIND! where you can flip sideways for landscape mode and see your whole song laid out in front of you
Some of the Quality-of-Life features:
• Latency delay — compensate for audio lag on slower devices or when syncing to a smart watch (will be released soon!)
• Haptic feedback — feel the beat, not just hear it
• Fullscreen beat visualizer — big, glanceable bars and rings for stage or practice-room use
• Tablet-optimized layouts — dedicated landscape and portrait views, with different a horizontal or vertical layout of the tempo segments
• Count-off — a lead-in bar before playback starts, with a choice of instrument sounds
• Custom beat patterns — accent, mute, or emphasize individual beats per segment
