About this app

Yusheng (語聲, "the sound of speech" in Chinese) is an AI voice keyboard for fast voice typing and speech to text. Talking is faster: hold the button and talk, let go, and your words are typed into the app you're using, with punctuation and paragraphs already done. No more slow dictation or messy talk-to-text.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Open the app, enable the keyboard and allow the microphone.
2. Tap a text field and switch to Yusheng.
3. Hold the mic button and talk. Let go and the text is sent. Prefer tap-to-talk with auto send when you pause? Switch it in Settings.
4. Misheard a word? Tap "Keys", fix it, then tap "Hide".
5. Fixes are remembered, so next time you say it, it comes out right. The more you use it, the more accurate it gets.
6. To switch back to your usual keyboard, long-press ⚙ on the keyboard. On phones without a globe key at the bottom of the screen, there is also a 🌐 key on the keyboard.

FEATURES
• Punctuation added for you, filler words like "um" and "uh" removed, and long messages split into paragraphs so they're easy to read.
• My words: names, places and terms you fix are remembered and kept only on your phone. You can delete them any time.
• A keyboard just for fixes: letters and numbers. Number fields get a number pad automatically, and password fields switch to letter keys with voice turned off.
• One-tap verification codes: when a code arrives by text message, it shows up above the keyboard and one tap fills it in (Android 11 and later). The code comes from your phone's autofill service. Yusheng never reads your messages.
• Up to 2 minutes per recording. Yusheng works while you talk, so your text appears about 2–3 seconds after you finish.
• No signal? What you said is saved and sent when you're back online.
• With Bluetooth earbuds, the phone mic is used by default so navigation and music keep playing. You can switch to the earbud mic in Settings.
• Light and dark themes that follow your phone.
• Only words and numbers count toward your allowance. Punctuation and formatting are free.

PLANS
• Free: 2,000 words a week for your first 4 weeks, then 600 words a week.
• Monthly plan: 30,000 words a month. Your local price is shown in the app.
• Founding Members: the first 1,000 subscribers keep their launch price for as long as they stay subscribed, and get a Founding Member badge.

PRIVACY
• Recording starts only when you press the talk button.
• Your voice and the recognized text are not stored on our servers.
• The keyboard doesn't record your keystrokes. My words stay on your phone.
• Yusheng doesn't read your clipboard, and voice input is off in password fields.
