Hear the time announcement every hour on the hour; no persistent service is required.

The hourly announcement is scheduled only once per hour. When the hour arrives, the app briefly starts playing, using the device's text-to-speech service to complete the announcement, and then exits after the announcement ends.

Set it up to your liking:

• Turn the hourly announcement on or off at any time.

• Choose 12-hour or 24-hour format.

• Choose the IANA time zone for the announcement.

• Set a silent period, supporting midnight.

• Listen to the current announcement immediately before starting the announcement.

• Use Simplified Chinese, English, or follow the system language.

Designed for reliable reminders:

• Resume the next announcement after a normal restart, app upgrade, or system time change.

• Use the system alarm volume; retry only within a limited time window if playback is interrupted.

• Clearly indicate access to precise alarms, notification permissions, offline voice, or alarm volume issues.

Privacy First:

The hourly chime does not contain advertisements, account information, analytics, or use app network permissions. Your chime settings are only saved on your device. The voice is generated by the Android text-to-speech engine selected on your device; it is recommended to install offline voice recordings beforehand.

Forcibly stopping the app in Android settings may cancel scheduled chimes. Reopening the hourly chime will restore the schedule.
