Clipelo is a video editor that runs entirely on your phone. Import clips from your gallery, cut them on a real timeline, and export straight back to your camera roll. No account, no upload, no watermark burned into your video.

THE TIMELINE
Your clips are drawn as a strip of real frames, not grey blocks, so you can see what you are cutting. The playhead stays pinned to the centre and the footage moves under it, which makes scrubbing and scrolling the same gesture. Pinch to zoom up to 24x when you need a frame-accurate cut.

- Import several clips at once and drag to reorder
- Trim from either end, or split at the playhead
- Duplicate and delete clips
- Tap any seam between two clips to add a fade, flash or dip
- Undo and redo anything
- Projects autosave and reopen where you left them

LOOK
Ten colour presets: Original, Vivid, Warm, Cool, Film, Fade, Mono, Noir, Sunset and Neon. All of them run on the GPU, so the preview updates as you drag. If you would rather do it by hand, brightness, contrast and saturation are there as sliders.

FRAMING
Crop by dragging a rectangle over the preview. Rotate and flip. Switch the canvas to 9:16 for Reels and Shorts, 1:1 or 4:5 for feed posts, 16:9 or 4:3 for landscape, and fill the empty edges with a blur of your own footage, a solid colour or an image.

TEXT AND CAPTIONS
Tap text on the video to edit it. Drag to move it, pinch to resize. Wording and colour live in a bar that replaces the timeline instead of squashing the preview, so you can always see what you are typing onto.

Auto captions are generated by on-device speech recognition, so your audio never leaves the phone. They land as ordinary text clips you can retime, reword or restyle.

SOUND AND SPEED
Add a music track with its own volume, offset and looping. Set volume per clip or mute one entirely. Speed runs from 0.25x to 4x with the audio following in step and pitch preserved, so slow motion does not turn voices into a growl.

BACKGROUND
Remove the background to cut yourself out of the shot, and put a colour or an image behind you instead.

EXPORT
480p up to 4K, saved to your gallery and ready to share anywhere.

WHAT IS FREE
Clipelo is free and paid for by ads rather than a subscription. The editor itself is free: the timeline, trimming, splitting, transitions, text, music, speed, cropping, five of the ten filters, and exports up to 720p and two minutes.

Watching a short rewarded ad unlocks the rest for a stretch of time rather than for one use:
- HD and 4K export, for 2 hours
- Exports longer than 2 minutes, for 2 hours
- All ten filters, for 24 hours
- Auto captions, for 24 hours
- Background removal, for 24 hours

You are always told what an ad will unlock before it plays, and nothing unlocks unless it plays to the end.

PRIVACY
Your videos are edited on your device and are never uploaded to us. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.
