About this app

GoRoute Driver is the driver-facing mobile companion for delivery and
field-service operations running on Odoo. Drivers sign in with their
company's Odoo credentials, receive the day's optimized route from the
dispatcher, and work through every stop — pickup, drop-off, signature,
photo, payment collection — without leaving the app.
Built for businesses that already run their logistics on Odoo, GoRoute
Driver talks directly to your own Odoo server. There is no separate cloud,
no third-party broker, and no extra subscription: drivers connect to the
same database that powers your dispatch, inventory, and customer records.
WORKS OFFLINE
• The full day’s route and stop details are cached on the device, so
drivers keep working in dead zones, basements, and rural routes.
• Completions, skips, payment collection, notes, signatures, and
proof-of-delivery photos are captured offline and queued locally.
• The moment the phone regains signal, everything syncs to Odoo
automatically in the background — no manual "upload" step. A small
sync indicator shows what is still pending.
WHAT DRIVERS GET
• A clean daily route — stops in the dispatcher’s planned order, with
travel time, distance, and customer details for every leg.
• Turn-by-turn navigation handed off to Google Maps / the default nav app.
• One-tap proof of delivery — customer signature, doorstep photo,
barcode scan, or a quick note.
• Skip / failed-delivery flows that keep the picking READY in the
warehouse so the office can reschedule without undoing state.
• Live location while a shift is active — the dispatcher map sees every
truck in real time, with speed and a 3-tier status indicator.
• Field-service tasks alongside deliveries — installation, repair, or
inspection stops completed with the same attempt-log pattern.
• Truck inventory — the expected load for the day, plus a discard action.
• Selectable colour themes so a company can match the app to its brand.

• A unified dispatch board: deliveries, point-of-sale ship-later orders,
internal transfers, and Field Service tasks in one timeline.
• Carrier-driven route optimization — only deliveries marked for internal
routing go through VROOM; external couriers are routed out untouched.
• Travel time + distance cached per route — no extra Google Maps bill for
re-renders of the same plan.
• Live ETA notifications by WhatsApp Cloud API (optional).
WHO IT'S FOR
GoRoute Driver is built for businesses on Odoo 18+ who want their drivers
to have a focused, road-friendly app instead of a generic browser tab. It
is licensed to and used by Master Software Solutions partners and their
clients in delivery, distribution, route-based sales, and field service.
WHAT YOU NEED
• An Odoo 18+ server with the GoRoute driver-app modules installed.
• A driver account provisioned by your Odoo administrator. Drivers cannot
self-register — your company controls who can log in.
• A device on Android 7.0 (API 24)+ with location, camera, and network.
PRIVACY
GoRoute Driver is a business-to-employee tool. Drivers' location data is
written only to the Odoo server their administrator owns. No data is sent
to Master Software Solutions, ad networks, analytics providers, or any
third party.
