About this app

Connexio is a secure notification and group-alert platform designed for authorized military personnel. It helps units distribute operational messages quickly, with clear control over who can send, receive, and confirm reading of notifications.

Verified, restricted access:
- Account creation is limited to approved organization email domains (whitelist).
- During registration, users confirm their email address using a one-time password (OTP) sent via email (verification only at registration).
- Sign-in uses email + password
- Passwords are never stored in plain text—only a cryptographic password hash is stored.

Roles and permissions
- User: Receives notifications and reads messages.
- Manager: Creates groups, adds users to groups, and sends notifications to groups they manage.
- Admin (Web Console): Manages users and roles (promote/demote managers), edits group membership, sends notifications, and removes users.
- All communication is protected with TLS/SSL encryption.

Group notifications + read confirmation
- Organize personnel into groups (unit/mission/team).
- Send notifications to specific groups.
- When a user opens a notification, it is marked as read.
- The group manager can view which members have read notifications sent to that group.

Requirements: Internet connection and an approved organization email address are required to register.
