About this app

MTFC (Move The Fleet Car) is the vehicle-movement logger used by a rental car fleet's drivers. It records which vehicle went from which depot to which, who moved it, and when — and lands every record in the fleet's operations back end within seconds.

BUILT FOR THE COUNTER
• Large-format entry form designed for tablets in landscape, with full phone support
• Scan a number plate or MVA barcode with the camera, or type it
• From/To depot suggestions and recent-route shortcuts per zone
• Batch entry: queue several vehicles and submit them together
• Works offline — records queue on the device and sync when the network returns

FLEET MESSAGES
• Broadcasts from the Fleet Manager appear as colour-coded banners in the app
• Optional notifications so urgent messages are seen straight away

ENROLMENT REQUIRED
MTFC is an internal workforce tool, not a consumer app. A device can only report after the Fleet Manager issues it a single-use Fleet Invite (a QR code or short code typed into the setup wizard). Without enrolment the app records nothing and sends nothing. If you don't work with the fleet, the app won't be usable.

PRIVACY
No location, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. The camera is used only to read number plates and invite codes, entirely on the device; no image is ever stored or uploaded. Privacy policy: https://device.mtfc.net.au/privacy

What’s new

Reporting is now fully routed through the Cloudflare fleet service.

Older saved connection settings are repaired automatically after updating.

Moves remain safely queued on the device during a temporary outage and retry automatically when service returns.
