About this app

Track the Magic cards you actually own, then let MTGStack build real, legal decks out of them.

Most deckbuilders assume you can buy anything. MTGStack starts from your shelf: log or scan your collection, pick a format, and it assembles a deck from the cards in front of you. It balances lands, ramp, removal and card draw, and tells you plainly when something is missing.

SCAN YOUR COLLECTION
• Point the camera at a card and it reads the name. No typing, no barcode
• Or search by name as you type, with live results
• Track quantity, finish and condition, and attach your own reference photos
• Filter by colour identity, card type or set

BUILD FROM WHAT YOU OWN
• Commander, Standard, Modern, Pioneer and Pauper
• Choose a commander, pick one at random, or search for a specific one
• Narrow the build by theme (Aristocrats, Spellslinger, and others) or by tribe (Elves, Goblins, Dragons…)
• Quick Build gives you a one-tap deck even with an empty collection, returning a full suggested list you can take shopping
• Every pick comes with a reason, so you can see why a card made the cut

KNOW WHERE A DECK STANDS
• Legality checked against live Scryfall data, including a warning when a card in a saved deck has since been banned or rotated
• Mana curve, colour balance and a synergy score
• "Why this deck is short" tells you exactly which category came up under target
• An estimated deck value, in your choice of currency
• Goldfish simulator to test-drive your opening hands and draws

UPGRADE IT
• Suggestions drawn from live community data, not a hardcoded list of staples
• Cards you already own are shown first, as free swaps
• Each suggestion is paired with a card to consider cutting
• Bring in a real preconstructed Commander deck and see how to improve it
• A Buy List rolling up everything all your decks still need, with a running total

TRACK YOUR GAMES
• Life totals for 2 or more players on a shared device, with each panel facing its player
• Commander damage tracked per opponent
• Win/loss records per deck, win rate by format, colour and table size, streaks and recent form

WORKS OFFLINE
Card data is cached on your device, so searching, building and checking legality keep working with no signal. Your collection and decks sync to your account, so they survive losing or replacing your phone.

FREE AND PREMIUM
Everything driven by Magic card data is free and stays free: search, scanning, legality, deck building, the goldfish simulator and the game tracker. Seeing which cards a deck is missing, and what they cost, is free too. The free version has no adverts and no time limit.

Premium is £4.99/month and adds unlimited saved decks, the full list of upgrade suggestions instead of a single teaser, the cross-deck Buy List, and the Metrics dashboard. It renews monthly until you cancel, and you can cancel any time from Settings.

PRIVACY
No adverts. No analytics. No tracking libraries of any kind. None at all, not just fewer. We do not sell your data. Card scanning happens entirely on your device: no photo from your camera is ever uploaded.
