Remember how every coffee tasted.

Sip Journal is a coffee tasting journal for pour over, espresso and every café cup. Name what you taste on a flavor wheel, rate it, and see every place you had a great coffee on your own map.

Name what you taste
• Pick flavors from a coffee flavor wheel: nine families and 93 tasting notes, from jasmine and blackberry to caramel and dark chocolate.
• Rate the cup, add a photo and your own notes.
• Link the beans and the brew recipe you used.
• Share a tasting as an image with its flavors, beans and brew.
• Not finished? Save it as a draft.

Every cup, on the map
• Add where you had it: search for a café, pick one nearby, use your current location, drop a pin, or choose Home.
• See all your tastings on a map, and search your journal.

Beans worth buying again
• Save beans with roaster, origin, variety, process, roast level and tasting notes.
• Browse the Bean Finder: search specialty coffees by name, roaster, country or variety, filter by roast level and process, and save any to your beans.
• Rate Bean Finder coffees and see how everyone else rated them.

Brew it the same way twice
• Save recipes for V60, AeroPress, Chemex, espresso, French press, cold brew and more: dose, water, temperature, grind, times, ratio, TDS and extraction yield.
• Start from a brew guide and make it your own.
• Keep your brewers, grinders and other equipment in Gear, with an icon or your own photo.

Your journal is yours
• No ads and no analytics.
• Your journal, beans, recipes and gear are private to your account. Only your Bean Finder ratings are shown to others, with your first name or initials.
• Sign in with email or Google, and delete your account and everything in it at any time.
• Light, dark or your phone's setting; grams or ounces; °C or °F.
