About this app

ID Check is a fast, straightforward ID barcode scanner built for age verification and door operations.

Scan the PDF417 barcode on a compatible driver's license or identification card to quickly view key information including age, date of birth, expiration date, issuing state, and admission status.

Try ID Check free with 5 scans, plus one extra "Just One More" scan. No account or business enrollment is required for Free Mode.

For participating businesses, Business Mode adds connected tools for higher-volume door operations, including:

Location-based age and expiration policies
21+ and under-21 admission decisions
Duplicate and recent-scan awareness
Birthday and 21st birthday alerts
Challenge questions to assist with ID verification
Manager review and escalation
Get Manager requests
Manager Mode with push notifications
Multiple enrolled devices and locations

Business Mode requires an enrollment code provided by a participating organization.

ID Check uses the device camera to read supported ID barcodes. Camera photos and video are not intentionally saved or uploaded as part of the scanning process. Free Mode performs ID checks locally on the device. Business Mode securely communicates with the ID Check service to provide connected operational features.

ID Check is intended to assist trained staff with identification and age-verification workflows. It does not replace human review or determine whether an identification document is authentic.
