Your gun is weak on purpose. Their logic is the real weapon.
Chipjack drops you into corporate data vaults as a rogue AI wearing a combat shell. Every security robot you meet - turrets, drones, kamikazes, shield nodes, commanders - runs openly on 2 to 3 behaviour chips: what it TARGETS, how it MOVES, how it FIRES, and a TRAIT. Tap an enemy, watch its chips pop out, and drag one onto another enemy. Send a kamikaze into the turret that's shredding you. Make a shield node protect your shell instead of theirs. Steal a burst-fire chip for your own weapon. Time slows to a crawl while you're holding a chip - just long enough to think, not long enough to stop and plan forever.
THIS IS THE WHOLE GAME
A heist is three rooms, about three to five minutes. Each room gives three stars: clear it, take no damage, and land a clean hack - beat it using mostly the enemies' own guns instead of yours. The par for that third star is computed by a solver, so it's honest: if it looks impossible, there's a smarter hack you haven't found yet.
A VAULT THAT NEVER GOES DOWN
Every heist adds to your Vault - a single number that only ever grows, ranks you from Script up through Worm, Daemon, Ghost and Singularity, and sits on a Play Games leaderboard next to your friends. Core upgrades make surviving easier. A chip library lets you decompile every enemy chip you've ever used and carry two as exploits into your next run. None of it changes what counts as a clean hack - the third star is earned with your head, not your wallet.
THREE COMPANIES, ONE MACHINE EACH
Helix Bank, Orbital Pharma and Kessler Defense each run 10 heists building toward a Core Vault boss with six chips, some locked behind a firewall you have to crack first. Beating a boss unlocks a new chip category - SENSE after Helix, LINK after Orbital - so late fights genuinely play differently from early ones.
DAILY AND WEEKLY HEISTS
Everyone gets the same heist on the same day, run with a standard shell - no exploits, no upgrades, nothing bought. Results compare your shot count against your friends', room by room. Beat someone's daily score and you can send them a challenge link.
WHAT COSTS MONEY (AND WHAT DOESN'T)
Chipjack is free to play with no energy system - play as long as you want, every day. Rewarded ads are entirely opt-in: watch one to double a heist's loot, continue a room after your shell goes down, or reroll the Chip Market. An optional Chipjack Pro subscription (from $2.99/month) removes nothing you need - it doubles Data earned, adds weekly Shards and cosmetic shells, and never changes a clean-hack target or gates a leaderboard. The Chip Market always shows you exactly what you're buying before you spend a Shard - nothing random is ever sold.
Chipjack is built for players who'd rather out-think a fight than out-grind it.
