About this app

LEFA is a shuttle requesting application that connects drivers and passengers. Passengers are required to register in the application by entering a valid cellphone number and email address. It allows riders to request a shuttle by simply entering the location to which they would like to be transported to. LEFA operates in various suburbs in Windhoek, to Hosea Kutako International Airport, safari lodges and game farms surrounding Windhoek. LEFA provides convenient cash and cashless payment options to passengers.

LEFA allows passengers to view a driver’s profile picture and vehicle’s details before the ride as well as the ability to track their requested shuttle in real-time once the ride has been confirmed. Passengers are given the opportunity to rate the driver and help LEFA improve the service.

Ratings and reviews

the app works great until something goes wrong. there is no way on the app to report an issue with a trip. my driver's car broke down I had to get another taxi and had already paid for the trip.emailed lefa on the email address in the app but it is no longer in service. sent a WhatsApp to their support number ..no reply.

Driver drove 35 the whole way to the destination. Refused to drive any faster because he "isn't allowed to". Ive lived in Namibia my whole life and know the quickest route to most destinations. The driver took a route which is much longer than need be. Again, he claimed he had to drive that way. Both these factors added up to my bill and i was very unhappy. Please add a driver rating in the app. The next driver to do this to me isnt getting paid.

Its safe and all. But i have an issue with no information. I booked a LEFA taxi which cost me 50 i asked to stop at an AtM for me to pay the transport and another 60 was added. It is unnecessary for the amount to be so high. What if at the end of the day we can not afford to pay the end amount added. Not being a hater but you guys should see into that. Dial a cab does not charge extra.

What’s new

In this update, we:
- Made improvements to the Notifications center: you now receive notifications even when the app is not running, as long as it is installed and you are logged in.
