No ads so far and it doesn't interrupt my podcasts or videos if I'm watching them on the same device. I am very pleasantly surprised! I would love to be able to play for longer periods of time (once you defeat an "enemy" there's a waiting period of hours+ before another one spawns) but that's such a minor complaint in the grand scheme of things. lol

Edit: Downgraded to 3☆. Look, its fun and no forced ads! Thats the best part. Watch as many bonus as as you want, but no forced ads. Its impossible to achieve higher than a 50% event completion without spending money though. Lets not pretend otherwise. Events scale with you, so you have to progress after the event starts. Paying to do better in one event just makes the next impossible to ever clear as it scales 1:1. I saved all of my weapon upgrades for after I started an event, didnt clear 45%.

No ads is WAY too expensive for a game like this. $41 AUD. That's ridiculous. As for the game itself, it's okay. It starts off slow so if you need a dopamine hit like a Gen-A then it's not for you. It's nice that there are no intrusive ads though. but I can only rate this 2stars with the absurd and out of touch pricing. Make it like $10 or something and you'll see a lot more sales.
