the ads are uniquely horrible. i dont think ive come across a game that has such an unreasonable, predatory ad scheme. it feels like about 90% of the time, youre going to get the 3-in-1, very long, non-skippable kind. ive never encountered one of the lovely short ads that most modern, reasonable games now use--at least part of the time. its a shame too because the game is actually kind of fun.

Fun once you remove forced ads. Four stars because I think they stopped developing this one in favor of their Butcher title that is identical to this one. Which is frustrating. I'd play the butcher one if I could port my progress (since I got to what is clearly the end of what they made so far). But it's a great concept: absorbing a little of your enemies on each kill is a lot of fun.

progression is extremely slow. At first, you feel yourself getting more and more powerful, but once you reach mid game, it slows to a crawl. I still have 6 more islands to unlock, and Idk if I'm going to be able to unlock the rest of the islands before I get burned out and delete this game. I've been playing for awhile now, and it's starting to become a chore. I gave up on boss hunts once I realized it scaled with me. they're just a waste of time. All drops need to be buffed.
