Scan any QR code or barcode in a second, then do something useful with it. QR Code Scanner & Generator is a QR code reader, barcode scanner, and QR code generator in one simple app. Scanning works offline, and you never need an account.

• Point your camera at a code and the result opens on its own, no shutter button
• Scan from your gallery when the code is in a screenshot or photo
• Share an image from another app to scan it
• Flashlight for dark rooms, menus, and tickets
• Pinch to zoom on small or distant codes
• Switch to the front camera when you need it
• Long-press the app icon for Scan and Create QR shortcuts, or add the Quick Settings tile

Reads QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec, PDF417, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, ITF, and Codabar. Restaurant menus, tickets, parcels, books, and store shelves all work.

The app recognizes what you scanned and gives you the right button:
• Website link → Open, with a quick Safe, Caution, or Danger label for suspicious-looking links
• Wi-Fi QR → see the network name and password, copy the password, and open Wi-Fi settings
• Contact card (vCard) → Save contact or Call
• Phone, SMS, email → Call, Send SMS, or Send email
• Location → Open in Maps
• Calendar event → Add to calendar
• Payment QR → open the payment link in your payment app
• Product barcode → Search the product on the web
• Google Play link → Install or open the app
• Social profile link → Open the profile

Scanned and created codes are saved in History on your phone. Search them, star your favorites, swipe to delete, or turn history off in Settings.

• Your scan history, favorites, and My QR are stored on your phone, not on our servers
• Camera access is only needed for live scanning. Gallery scan works without it
