15 free offline tools for home improvement and repair—from a spirit level to a metal detector. Install it once and use it forever, even without internet.

The metal detector finds rebar, pipes, and wiring in walls directly through your phone's sensor. A dial indicator, audible signal, and vibration will show you where the metal is.
