The Lutherstadt Eisleben looks back on more than 800 years of mining history and is a central place of the Reformation. Nestled in the Mansfeld region, the city bears the title of "European city of the Reformation" and the Luther sites in Eisleben are part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
In a 60-minute tour, mundoido goes on a journey through time and takes you back to the turbulent era of the rough Middle Ages, from the beginnings of the noble house of the Counts of Mansfeld, through the turbulent times of the Reformation and the Peasants' War to the present day! Many Eislebers have their say in the audio guide and talk about culture, history and life in their city.
