MunichWays is the cycling navigation app for everyone who wants to enjoy relaxed cycling in their daily lives – especially within cities and towns.

While many cycling apps focus primarily on sports, tours, and leisure, MunichWays concentrates on pleasant everyday routes: to work, shopping, the train station, or simply across the city.

Discover more enjoyable cycling routes along quieter streets, with more greenery, often cooler in summer, and with fewer stops at traffic lights.

MunichWays considers not only the distance but also the "Happy Bike" level of a route. Cyclists have collectively rated the routes to achieve this. This way, you'll find routes that make cycling more enjoyable – ideally without unnecessary detours.

In Upper Bavaria, route planning takes into account the route ratings recorded in OpenStreetMap. The Happy Bike Level shows you at a glance how pleasant a route is to cycle.

Outside the rated area, the app automatically uses BRouter for worldwide route calculation. You don't need to change anything.

MunichWays is free and developed by volunteers.
