About this app

Pods Battery lets you monitor the battery status of your AirPods on Android devices.

How to use it:
1. After installing, open the app once to enable permissions and change any settings you want.
2. Simply connect your AirPods and the app will start displaying their battery levels! (Even if the app is closed or your phone is locked)

- Shows a notification with AirPods status when they are connected.
- Connects when your AirPods connect to your phone
- View the charging status of your AirPods in and out of the case
- View the charging status of your case

*Android devices can only see the battery status of the Case if at least one AirPod is in it.

NOTE: The app may work with some Apple AirPods clones. If your AirPods clones do not work with the app please email support so we can change the app to work with your AirPods clones.

NOTE: The app does not work with some Huawei phones. Certain Huawei phones are missing a critical Bluetooth 4.0 feature that allows the app to read AirPods battery levels.

NOTE: The MIUI ROM running has known compatibility issues. You can continue but Pods Battery may not work properly.

Why does the app ask for location permissions?
This app uses Bluetooth APIs in order to get the AirPod data. The Android OS requires the app to be given location permissions in order to use these Bluetooth APIs. For more info see: https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/connectivity/bluetooth#Permissions

Ratings and reviews

I found air battery to be a brilliant app if you have airpods to use with android. The reason I didn't rate 5 stars is becaue I am not sure about the accuracy of the battery. However I understand this is out of your control. Another reason as becaue of how quick the ear detection, can it be quicker or is it still a limitation of the airpods with android. Overall, the best app on android that works with airpods without having to pay for too much. I recommend very much.

This app is good, but sometimes, it randomly makes my phone really slow, and when I tap on something it takes around 10 seconds to execute, I've tried other apps but I only had this problem here. I have a Samsung Galaxy J6+ and the problem only stops with some time or when I disconnect my airpods. Edit: This review was from my experience with an older version, I,ve installed the most recent one and I hope this problem will not happen.

This app is good, no doubt, does everything I need it too, granted it's not perfect, if you want perfect go get an iPhone. Only thing I will moan about however, is when I'm just sitting there on my phone, reading Reddit or what not, it pops up saying connecting, bro my airpods are in the other room, this needs to be fixed, other then that, it would be 5 stars
