Muslim Pass uses the Android AccessibilityService API to enable its core app-locking and accountability features.

Why AccessibilityService is required

AccessibilityService allows Muslim Pass to:

• Detect when a locked app is opened

• Display the lock screen immediately

• Prevent access to selected apps until the Quran reading goal is completed

Without AccessibilityService, the app-lock feature cannot function properly.

How the service is used

• AccessibilityService is used only to monitor app launches selected by the user

• It does not read messages, record keystrokes, or capture screen content•

• It does not collect personal or sensitive data

• It does not modify system settings without user consent

User control & privacy

• Accessibility permission is optional and enabled only after clear user consent

• Users can disable the service at any time from Android system settings

• No data is shared with third parties

• All processing happens locally on the device
