About this app

InterBuckets is a privacy-first portfolio tracker that helps investors understand their holdings and allocations. It supports long-term tracking; it does not execute trades or provide financial or tax advice. Features include:
- Store portfolio, account, holding, activity, bucket, and tax-assumption information locally on your device. Platform-managed backups may include this information, depending on your device settings.
- Search supported market symbols, record positions and transactions, and review allocation across portfolios, accounts, and buckets.
- See current values and performance for eligible selected periods. InterBuckets calculates money-weighted return (MWR) using XIRR when the required history and market data are available.
- Compare historical backtests of different bucket combinations to explore how hypothetical portfolios would have performed. Backtests are illustrative and do not predict future results or identify a suitable portfolio.
- Record activity history, illustrative tax estimates, and price and currency-rate dates and freshness.

Market-price and currency-rate requests do not include account names, quantities, transactions, or portfolio values.
