FASTER is a no-nonsense productivity app that forces you to stop over-planning and start doing.

Most to-do apps let you add unlimited tasks and feel productive without actually being productive. FASTER works differently. Every day starts with a simple question: what must you get done today? Not what you'd like to do — what must happen.

You name up to 5 tasks to start your day, estimate how long each one will take, and FASTER shows you your total time commitment upfront. If your plan is unrealistic, you'll know before you start — not at 9pm when you've run out of day.

HOW IT WORKS


1. NAME YOUR TASKS — Start with your single most important task. Add up to 4 more. Be honest about what must get done.

2. ESTIMATE YOUR TIME — Enter how many minutes each task will take. FASTER calculates your total daily workload and warns you if you're overcommitting.

3. FOCUS — Tap Focus on any task to start a countdown timer. The screen stays on. The clock counts down. You work.

4. COMPLETE — When you're done, mark the task complete. FASTER records your estimated vs actual time so you learn from every session.

5. CAPTURE THE REST — Tasks that don't make today's cut go into Future Tasks, organised by category: Work, Home, Personal, and Other. Pull them into your day whenever you're ready.

The Focus timer now keeps going when you run over.

Before, the timer stopped at zero. Now, when your estimated time runs out, it keeps counting — in red — so you can see exactly how far past your estimate a task actually went. When you finish, FASTER records your real time, not just your guess. Over a few days you'll start to see the truth about how long your work really takes, which makes every future estimate sharper.
