PROMpt is developed by Mvine Ltd on behalf of MServ for patients during their care in hospital.
The app is free to download. It becomes active only for patients at hospitals that use the PROMpt system in agreement with MServ. You will usually be asked to install PROMpt when you are listed for surgery by a participating hospital.
HOW TO GET ACCESS
To use the app you need access from a participating hospital. You can either scan the QR code on your hospital wristband or create an account using an SMS code provided by the hospital. Without a participating hospital account, the app's features cannot be activated.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
Once your access is set up, PROMpt gives you:
• Information about your ward
• Guidance videos from psychologists
• Guidance videos from physiotherapists
• A pain scale to record your current pain level
• Self-help content, including videos, music and puzzles
• The option to submit a Wellness Score
• Call4Concern (Martha's Rule) to raise a concern about your care
• The Friends and Family Test questionnaire
LANGUAGES
PROMpt is available in English, Bulgarian and Polish.
ABOUT THE PROMpt PROGRAMME
MServ has evaluated the PROMpt system in a clinical trial at University College London Hospitals (UCLH). In that trial, patients using PROMpt as part of their care reported improved pain management during their hospital stay.
