The My Shelf tab displays all your picks sorted by priority and discussion date, complete with colored ribbon bookmarks that signal your intent at a glance. You can add a new book in moments by opening the Add Book form, typing the title and author, selecting a priority like Must Read, Curious, or Maybe, and optionally setting a discussion date. Tapping any spine reveals clear edit and delete actions, letting you adjust your queue without ever leaving the shelf. The Upcoming tab narrows your view to only future reads arranged as a graceful vertical timeline, each spine paired with a tiny calendar and its scheduled date. When you need to find a specific pick, the Search tab filters your entire collection by title or author instantly, showing matching spines right beneath the search bar. At the bottom of the screen, two brass library plaques serve as quiet dashboard counters, one showing your total planned picks and the other tracking how many discussions are set for the current month. A mother-of-pearl inlay button sits on the shelf edge, offering a quick path to add a new title without interrupting your browsing flow. Once a book has been discussed in the past, its spine gains a subtle blind-debossed “READ” inscription that catches the light only when you tilt your device, avoiding any conspicuous checkmarks. All of your reading data stays stored securely on your device, so your entire queue remains available whenever you open the app, with no reliance on an internet connection. The shelf itself carries the quiet atmosphere of a bookbinder’s workshop, scattering a bone folder and a small awl among the wood grain shadows. If your shelf is empty, you are greeted by a handwritten note and an antique bookend, a gentle invitation to start filling it with your next literary discoveries.
