Say goodbye to single-use packaging for takeaway food.

With MWS-Box, you can borrow sturdy, reusable boxes for your food at participating restaurants and delivery services—without any extra charge at the checkout. Simply show the QR code, take the box, and return it later. With each return, you'll see how much CO₂, water, and resources you've already saved.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Register with your email address or via Apple/Google—an address is required, as a small fee will be automatically collected via SEPA direct debit in the rare event of damage or non-return.

2. Go to the restaurant and order your food to go.

3. Show your personal QR code in the app.

4. Take your food in an MWS box.

5. Return the box to a participating restaurant within 8 days — done.

Are you a restaurateur? The MWS box is also available for your business. Scan guest QR codes when borrowing and returning containers, keep track of your inventory, see your top regular customers, and your sustainability metrics. No Excel spreadsheets, no deposit system.

COSTS

Using MWS-Box as a guest is free. A fee is only charged if a box is damaged or not returned after the rental period—in which case the replacement fee (€12–15 depending on the box type) will be automatically collected via SEPA direct debit.
