The app is OK. But I have found if I click on a notification of an event, with the expectation that the app would open with more detail, nothing happens. The notification goes away, but the app does not open. Seems like an odd way to set up the interface.

Many bugsJust had a quick poke around the app after reading the reviews and clicked on "payments" to see where that would take me, curiously that showed the calendar of when I should put what bin out...many bugs. It did initially tell me my council area was not a participant and then on further digging the info came up but I definitely wouldn't rely on it. It did show all the phone numbers & opening times for the waste/recycling depots which is a bit of pain to find online...

Please contact our support address websolutions@lga.sa.gov.au with your address and we will check if the council area is a subscriber council and if the address is correct in our system.

Bin collection schedule is not working. App says this service is unavailable and that my council (Holdfast Bay) is not connected to the app at the time. Council staff claim it's working on their phone. The app would even remind me when to put the bins out! Thanks for the explanation - it is clearly not the app's fault! Aren't we paying enough rates to support this great service?

The My Local Services App is designed primarily for South Australian councils and only provides a waste collection schedule for subscriber councils mainly in South Australia.
If your council area is not a subscriber then limited functionality is provided ie: the ability to lodge a Report to any South Australian council and basic information .
