About this app

My Local Services delivers information on recycling and waste collection, parks, points of interest and more. It also allows you to report local maintenance issues and receive news from participating authorities.

The App is designed primarily for South Australian councils and only provides a waste collection schedule for subscriber councils mainly in South Australia.

If your council area is not a subscriber then limited functionality is provided ie: the ability to lodge a Report to any South Australian council and basic contact information for South Australian councils.

Great app. I have been using it for a while now and been good for tracking my bin pickup schedule and council rates. I briefly had an issue with notifications not coming though but contacted their support and they had it fixed with a patch in no time at all.

It was useful for the bin calender last year but they haven't corrected it for fortnightly green waste pickup so it's sometimes wrong. The map isn't particularly helpful and there doesn't seem to be any actual services list.

Many bugsJust had a quick poke around the app after reading the reviews and clicked on "payments" to see where that would take me, curiously that showed the calendar of when I should put what bin out...many bugs. It did initially tell me my council area was not a participant and then on further digging the info came up but I definitely wouldn't rely on it. It did show all the phone numbers & opening times for the waste/recycling depots which is a bit of pain to find online...
