About this app

Mydos PDF brings a document scanner and a PDF editor together in one simple app. It is completely free, has no ads or watermarks and works without an internet connection. Your documents never leave your device.

📷 DOCUMENT SCANNER
• Finds the document with your camera, crops the edges and straightens it automatically
• Save as an image PDF, a searchable PDF (with a text layer) or a plain text PDF
• On-device text recognition (OCR)
• ID card mode: front and back on a single A4 page
• Turn photos from your gallery into a PDF

✏️ PDF EDITOR
• Edit existing text in a PDF in place
• Draw with a pen or highlighter, add shapes, arrows and text
• Draw your signature or extract it from a photo, then place it on the document
• Fill forms: text fields, check boxes, lists and signatures
• Add page numbers, headers and footers

📄 PAGE TOOLS
• Merge and split PDFs
• Extract, delete, rotate and drag to reorder pages

🔒 SECURITY AND PRIVACY
• Permanent redaction: finds IBANs, card numbers, phone numbers and emails automatically and removes them for good
• Protect PDFs with AES-256 passwords, or remove a password
• Clean hidden metadata such as author, creator app and dates
