So prior to this, I did this w/a counselor; that helps the most. w/PTSD there are exercises that may be needed before EMDR (write a narrative, etc). Don't expect miracles with this unless you do those too. For this app, I write a file to talk me thru event(s) (w/text to speech in AI Reader) while using this. It's laid some more minor intrusive things to rest but EMDR's best done with a professional.

Having a previous experience with a professional proves indeed strictly necessary. This application is intended to relax, or possibly to self-desensitize, but provided a prior knowledge of PTSD management with a trained professional has been acquired. Thank you for pointing this out.
