mypensionID enables you to communicate with your pension provider using a combination of biometrics and liveness techniques. It confirms and authenticates personal identity to official validated documents. All within minutes.

HOW TO REGISTER

If you have received an invitation letter from mypensionID, all you need to do is follow the onscreen instructions to onboard with mypensionID. You’ll need the 12-digit Unique Security Code from the letter and you’ll need to verify your identity with a selfie and a valid government issued photo identity document (passport, driving licence or national ID card).
After you’re set up, you can create a 5-digit passcode to log in faster in future.

This app doesn't work. It takes all your data and then says that there is a problem. There is no information as to what the problem is. Support is useless -- their principal recommendation is to fill out the paper form and send it in. Also note that the security code is case sensitive -- until you realize that you don't even get past the first screen. Update: the support response was completely canned. If I had a profile problem the right answer should be to contact the pension authority.

If you have received the message there is a problem with your profile, the app has worked correctly but unfortunately the data you have verified does not match the data supplied from the pension company. Our support team are excellent at what they do. We are employed by the pension authority, please read the letter sent to you.

Should be easy as, but ....... I wasted nearly 2 hours of my life trying to use this app. At my age 2 hours is a lot. To cut a long story short, firstly,the app crashed. I ended up unistalling and reinstalling it 3 times. It wouldn't accept my ID because one corner was slightly blurred. I spent so much time waiting in a queue to speak to a customer service operator (who were very good and pleasant considering the flack they must get) that it has probably cost me a weeks pension in phone calls.

Photography issues as reported by others. I also do not understand why you need a photo of my spouse. This app really is not for for purpose. I very nearly gave up. 12 months later the photo process is still USELESS. I spent about 2 hours trying to get the photo verification to work. Not enough light it said. Rubbish. I was outside in broad daylight.
