mypensionID also allows you to update your address in one place for all your pensions shown in your dashboard, whether at home or on the go.

Using innovative and proven mobile technology and biometrics, mypensionID offers a secure and convenient way for you to keep your pension scheme data up to date, ensuring you never lose touch with your pension pots and keeping you in control of the information you receive.

HOW TO REGISTER

If you have received an invitation letter from mypensionID, all you need to do is follow the onscreen instructions to onboard with mypensionID. You’ll need the 12-digit Unique Security Code from the letter/Email, and you’ll need to verify your identity with a selfie and a valid government issued photo identity document (passport, driving licence or national ID card).

Ratings and reviews

This app doesn't work. It takes all your data and then says that there is a problem. There is no information as to what the problem is. Support is useless -- their principal recommendation is to fill out the paper form and send it in. Also note that the security code is case sensitive -- until you realize that you don't even get past the first screen. Update: the support response was completely canned. If I had a profile problem the right answer should be to contact the pension authority.

It's August 2026 and I've just (finally) successfully i.d'd myself. I too crashed my android phone with the app, then got it to work fine on a Techlast tablet - all the way up to actually sending it ! 'Contact the help line' it says. 'it never got as far as us, so can't help' they say. (actually that makes sense, I understand) left it 24 hours and did the whole thing again and this time it worked. So it looks like still some bugs to work out, but better than faffing about with a paper form.

First time I have used this app and it was so easy. I have read some of the previous reviews and I admit that the old versions sound awful. I know I am tech savvy, so that helps. Living in Spain this app is great. The fear of not receiving the pension letters in the post and then having to send them back to the UK via snail is enough to raise even my perfectly normal blood pressure.
