About this app

Operation Trainer drills the arithmetic and the algebra rules you are supposed to know by heart — times tables, elementary division, the laws of exponents and the logarithm rules.

No ads. No account. No internet needed. No permissions requested.

WHAT YOU PRACTICE

✖️ Multiplication tables, 1 to 20
Every table from 1 to 20, twelve questions each (×1 through ×12). Most apps stop at 10 or 12. This one goes to 20.

➗ Elementary division
Dividing by 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, twelve questions each — the exact reverse of the tables, so the two reinforce each other.

🔺 Laws of exponents
Product and quotient of powers with the same base, power of a power, power of a product and of a quotient, zero, one and negative exponents, roots as fractional exponents, and adding like terms.

📐 Logarithm rules
The definition, the product, quotient and power rules, change of base, log of 1, log of the base, both inverse properties, the reciprocal base, the base of ln and of log, and the log of a root.

324 exercises in all.

HOW IT WORKS

One question per screen, typeset properly with KaTeX — real fraction bars, real exponents, real subscripts, not ASCII approximations.

For tables and division the answer is a number, so you get the numeric keypad and nothing in the way.

For the laws, the app names the rule it wants — "Product rule:" — shows you the left-hand side, and you write the right-hand side. A symbol bar gives you fractions, exponents, logs and roots, with a live preview of your formula as you type. It does not care how you write it: log_a x + log_a y, log_a(x)+log_a(y) and logax+logay are all accepted as the same answer.

Stuck? Show solution fills it in for you — but it breaks your streak, which is rather the point.

PROGRESS THAT MEANS SOMETHING

🔥 Your streak counts clean answers in a row. One mistake, or one revealed solution, and it drops to zero.
🏆 Your record only ever goes up.
✅ Every table and every rule set keeps its own counter and turns green when you complete it, so the menu is the map of what you have left.

Progress is kept between sessions. Nothing is lost when you close the app.

BUILT TO STAY OUT OF THE WAY

• Works completely offline — the formula renderer ships inside the app
• Zero permissions requested
• No ads, no purchases, no sign-up
• No accounts, no analytics, no data collected
• English and Spanish, switchable from inside the app

WHO IT IS FOR

Students drilling their tables. Anyone heading into algebra who keeps mixing up a^m · a^n with (a^m)^n. Students who learned the log rules the night before the exam and would rather actually know them. Teachers and parents who want something a child can open without an account, an ad or a countdown timer.
Times tables to 20, division, exponent laws and log rules. Free, offline.
