Our past


G.B McCauley’s dedication to excellence saw his small pharmacy business in Enniscorthy grow quickly in the years since its doors opened under his name in 1953. In 1978, Sam McCauley and his wife Leslie, both pharmacists, joined the business with that same passion and expertise. Today, McCauley Pharmacy is one of Ireland’s most trusted names. We couldn’t be more proud.



Our future


We appreciate the traditional, but our eyes are always looking ahead. Digital services that provide our customers with a choice of how and when they access our care are a priority for us, and we are always looking for ways to use technology that makes our customers’ experience with us as quick and convenient as they need it to be.

The McCauley App has been designed and developed to empower the patient to order prescriptions, book appointments, shop online and engage with our digital health services

• Book vaccination or appointments at your local store
• Shop online, with unique fantastic app offers
• Set prescription or medicine reminder
• Access our Digital Doctor or other services
• Secure your data with optional pin login
• Find your nearest store.

Ratings and reviews

Update sucks. Up til now, this app was very simple to use, particularly for ordering prescriptions - the main reason to have it. A few clicks to select what was needed and you're done. With today's update, the Rx section takes you out to a website where you have to input everything - name, dob, contact details. Every. Single. Time. I'm not at all impressed!

I wanted to love this app but mistakes made by staff in-store, which they told me would not be corrected even though it was a simple data entry error on their part, meant that I could order most of my refills in the app but would have to ring as usual for two of eight items. If I have to ring anyway, what use is the app?

Poor app, shows that I have no prescriptions remaining when I do, I've ordered 2 months worth of repeats on the app to find only one month dispensed when I went to collect from the shop, I'm giving up using it. The idea is good but the app needs alot of work before I'll use it again.
