Swayamvar is a live-event matchmaking experience rooted in the Indian
Swayamvara tradition. You choose your partner in person, at a curated
evening event — not by swiping through photos on a screen.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

• No swiping, no chat. Real people, in real rooms, having real
conversations.
• No appearance-based judgement. When browsing invited men, women see
only age and an AI-generated compatibility summary — no photos, no
location, no bios. The decision to invite him is judgement-free.
• Video-call verified. Every attendee goes through a short video call
with our team before an invitation goes out. No fake profiles.
• The diya is your signal. Women light a virtual diya for each man they
find compatible; men see only an anonymous count, never who lit the
diya.
• Choose in person. On event night, after curated conversations and
activities, each woman picks three men she'd most like to share
dinner with. A single dinner partner is revealed — the person she
actually wants to know better.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Sign up with your phone. Complete a short bio + one clear face photo.
2. We schedule a short video call to verify you.
3. Once verified, you're eligible for upcoming events in your city.
4. Women browse invited men (age + AI compatibility only) and light
diyas for the ones they'd like to invite.
5. Men with diyas get invited and pay to attend.
6. Event night: dressed elegantly, real conversations, curated
activities.
7. Each woman picks three; the AI-scored compatibility engine assigns
dinner partners. Names are shared only in person at the venue.

FOR WHOM

Adults 18+ looking for a serious partner, either for marriage or a
committed relationship. Currently piloting in Mumbai; more cities as we
grow.

SAFETY AND PRIVACY

• Every user is video-call verified before being invited to any event.
• Names, phones, faces, bios and voice are never revealed to the other
side in the app. You share your name in person.
• Consent for how your data is used is granular and revokable from
Settings.
• Report or block any user from their profile; our team reviews every
report within 24 hours.
• We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA 2023).

WHAT WE ARE NOT

• Not a dating app. No swiping, no unlimited matches, no in-app chat.
• Not a marriage bureau. We facilitate meaningful conversations at
physical events; what happens after is up to you.
• Not free forever. Events have a per-couple minimum for the venue's
food and beverage.
