ok I decided to buy the full game after abandoning it for months and I do not regret it. it's fun, especially because I really like this type of games. I am very familiar with wu zetian's story and palace harem premise so the choices are a bit easy. but the storyline is indeed linear, so if you're expecting more freedom, you won't get that. still fun though, can't wait for part 2!

Great game, story, cut scenes, aesthetic. Why is a single player game having to always be online? Also if you have PC just get that as it will look better, run better, comes with dlc, and is same price. Also, not fond of huge cliffhangers, feels like the ending was abrupt. You can end a story and still leave it open for a part 2.

One of the best games I've found this year. I'm invested in Chinese history, and Road to Empress sure is a must play. My money was well spent 😊 beautiful characters with refreshing systems. However, now I can not enter the game as it is said that I needed to update, which is already done. Therefore, I'm confused why. Please do not overlook this and do something.
