About this app

Telemob gives you mobile access to the SSH nodes permitted by your Teleport role, with a terminal designed for phones and tablets.

CONNECT DIRECTLY

Enter your Teleport proxy address and sign in with an existing local Teleport user. Telemob connects directly to that proxy—there is no Telemob account, hosted relay, advertising, analytics, or traffic proxy.

AUTHENTICATION

• Password with TOTP• Browser-based passkey MFA on supported Teleport clusters• Encrypted on-device restoration of an unexpired Teleport session• Passwords are used only during authentication and are not saved

• Browse the SSH nodes permitted by your Teleport role• Filter nodes by hostname and labels• Choose from the SSH login names permitted for each node• See which node and login currently have an active session

• Full-screen terminal with dynamic PTY sizing• Direct typing, paste, Ctrl and Alt modifiers, navigation keys, and F1–F12• Optional whole-line input for longer commands• Tap and scroll support for compatible full-screen terminal applications• Disconnect from the app or the Android notification

BACKGROUND SESSIONS ON ANDROID

When you start an SSH session, Telemob runs a visible foreground service so the connection can remain active while the app is in the background. The notification identifies the active terminal and includes a Disconnect action. The service stops when you disconnect or the session ends.

SECURITY OPTIONS

Certificate verification is enabled by default. An explicit option is available for development environments that use self-signed certificates. Enabling it disables certificate-chain and hostname verification and should be used only when you have verified the proxy through another trusted channel.

• Local Teleport users only; SSO is not supported• SSH nodes only• No file transfer, agent forwarding, session joining, application access, database access, Kubernetes access, or desktop access
