This app helps you to share files and encrypted messages to other users in the same local area network even without internet. The app is also available for Windows, Mac and Linux in the form of Java archive which is packed within the app.

Almost useable. Doesn't work very well on Pixel 2 XL: it doesn't seem possible to initiate a chat. The chat tab appears only if someone else sends you a message first. The Windows jar would be useable if it had any way of alerting the user that a message had arrived. As it is, it's just not functional enough to use.

It does work offline but only if both devices are connected. Once disconnected while offline, I run into issues getting both devices communicating again. In fact I have yet to get both devices communicating again while offline. Meanwhile RealPopup LAN chat app simply works. Bluetooth chat works offline also but the range is limited to 10 meters. Wifi LAN when offline has ten times better range. But I'll be using the other apps until the developer improves this one.

Best. All in one pack. But have some limitations. Please add 1. Folder share 2. Fix everytime asking for accept make it for once 3. Message and file/ folder share from same screen 4. Make receiver message on right side and client message on left side 5. Remote access for both PC and phone if possible 6. Desktop sharing 7. Screen mirroring Thanks a lot for such a great creation.
