A bit barebones but pretty good. There's quite a bit of room for improvement. Pros: It's chu shogi! They got the rules right and the pieces move correctly. Cons: There are no dots on the board to show where the promotion zones are, makes it a bit hard to visualize things. There aren't many AI difficulty settings, and none of them are very hard. No online play either. Some way to learn how the pieces move would be nice, but the only instructions just link to the chu shogi Wikipedia page.

Okay as an advant player of shogi and apparently the first to play on this app i wanna say it's a bit overwrealming. A totorial without too much explination but enough to help you inderstand the game anf it's rules, maybe a player communication ability multiplayer kind of thing. A stratgey guide might help too. I want to play it but i feel very overwhelemed. If you can worl around a few things and make it easier to get eased into chu i would love to play it.

It's good! It's the only Chu Shogi app out there. That being said, I'd pay to remove ads. update; when checking your Lion, the AI tends to make the illegal move of repeating past board states. This makes it quite tedious to use your Lion, since the responsibility of breaking perpetual Lion check is on the Lion player, not the checker.

In ver2.2.0, you can resume the last game. Thank you.
