Codra is an offline reference for ICD-10-CM, HCPCS Level II and denial codes, for people who look codes up all day: medical coders, billers, revenue cycle staff, auditors and clinicians. The whole ICD-10-CM FY2027 code set is inside the app. No connection, no sign-in, no account.
Codra is a reference tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical condition, and it never tells you which code to assign. Consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, and verify every code against the current official guidelines and your payer's rules.
SEARCH THE WAY YOU THINK
Type a code: E11.9, J45.909, S72.001A. Type a keyword: asthma, nephritis, fracture. Or type it the way a patient said it: "heart attack" finds myocardial infarction, "broken arm" finds the fracture codes.
Exact code matches rank first, then prefixes, then descriptions. Matched words are highlighted, and every row says whether the code is billable on its own.
THE NOTES MOST ICD-10 APPS FLATTEN
Includes, Excludes1, Excludes2, Code First, Code Also and Use Additional Code appear as separate, labelled sections, each with a plain-English line explaining what that instruction means.
Excludes1 and Excludes2 mean opposite things, and Codra never runs them together. Notes inherited from the block or chapter above a code are shown on it too, and marked as inherited, so you can see where a rule came from.
BOTH HALVES OF THE CODE BOOK
The tabular list and the complete alphabetic index: Diseases and Injuries, External Causes, the Neoplasm Table and the Table of Drugs and Chemicals. Look a condition up by name, follow the sub-terms down, then jump to its full entry. Shipping the tabular list alone is shipping half a code book.
Browse all 22 ICD-10-CM chapters, their blocks and every category. Each chapter has its own colour, shown as a thumb tab and on every code row.
KNOW WHAT CHANGED ON 1 OCTOBER
ICD-10-CM turns over every year. Codra shows what was added, deleted and revised, and checks your own favourites and lists against it, so you find out from the app instead of from a denial. Deleted codes are kept and marked.
DENIAL CODES IN PLAIN LANGUAGE
What a CARC or RARC on a remittance usually means, what tends to cause it, and what to check next. These summaries are written by us, not the official X12 descriptors, and the app says so.
