app has a tendency to not maintain a reliable connection to the shockwave wireless when looking for updates. it holds a connection when doing common setting adjustments but when going to check for updates it fails at times, I've rebooted my phone which would then work and even updated my phone to a newer model to see if it could be an issue with an old phone but eventually fails again some time after. at this point I have to open app multiple times to eventually successfully check for updates.

App was broken for wayyyyyyyy too long for anything this expensive. Well over a year. So yeah super bummer and awful experience overall, however they did finally update the firmware to 3.8 which fixed app issues so updated review to reflect that. 01.14.26 - this is a joke, app broken yet again. Every time I open it the audio jumps to 25, great.......

EXCELLENT A+ SOUND SYSTEM. The app was working fine UNTIL the UPDATE TODAY. Jan 12th. 2026. IT'S THEIR A WAY TO ROLL BACK TO THE PREVIOUS VERSION? EVERY TIME I LAUNCH THE APP NOW, IT TURNS MY SOUND SYSTEM UP TO MAX VOLUME.LUCKILY, I HAVE IT SET TO TWENTY FIVE OR ELSE.IT WOULD HAVE BLOWN ALL THE SPEAKERS OUT!!! !!@PLEASE FIX THIS @!! I DO NOT WANT TO HURT MY QUAD 12's #DRAGON#1
