About this app

Namfus brings the whole school community into one app — kindergartens, schools
and municipalities. Families, students, teachers and school leaders each get
their own view of the same school day.

FOR FAMILIES

All your children in one place, from kindergarten through school. See the
timetable, homework and grades, follow attendance, and report an absence in a
few taps — with a note, a time window, or a document when the school asks for
one.

If your child is in kindergarten, you get their whole day: when they arrived and
who dropped them off, what they ate, how long they slept, diaper changes, mood,
and the staff's notes home. Photos from the day appear in the app, and you decide
which kinds of photo sharing you consent to. You can also change who collects
your child, request new stay times, and sign up for extra registration days.

FOR STUDENTS

Your timetable, your homework, your attendance and your results — the school day
on your phone.

FOR TEACHERS

Everything for the lesson you are teaching right now. Take attendance in a single
screen — present, absent, late, excused — record behaviour and any other
categories your school has set up, read the lesson plan, and assign homework
without leaving the class.

Still on paper attendance sheets? Scan the QR code at the top, photograph the
sheet, and Namfus reads the marks for you. Rows it is unsure about are flagged
for review, and the name column is cropped out before the image is ever sent.

FOR SCHOOL LEADERS

Keep the school in sync. Today's attendance, trends by weekday, by class and
across the school year, staff absences, and which lessons still need cover.
Approve reported absences and staff leave as they come in. And when someone needs
help right now, Quick Response alerts the whole response team and shows you who
is on the way.

FOR MUNICIPALITIES

District administrators see every school at once — students, staff, absences and
unfilled cover across the district.

BUILT FOR SCHOOLS

• Available in Icelandic, English, Danish, German, Swedish and Norwegian
• Messages from the school are translated automatically into your language

Namfus is provided through your school or municipality. You will need an account
from them to sign in.

Until now the app was for students and families. Now everyone at the school has
their own version of it.
