About this app

A complete PDF editor offline. Read, edit, sign, scan, convert, merge and protect your documents entirely on your phone — no account, no sign-up, and nothing uploaded to a server.

Most PDF tools send your file away to be processed. This one does not. Every conversion, every scan, every page you sign happens on your own device, which is why the whole app keeps working offline, on a plane or with no signal at all.


READ

A fast, quiet PDF reader. Open PDFs with smooth continuous scrolling and pinch to zoom. Search the text inside a document and jump straight to a result. Night mode inverts the page for comfortable reading in the dark. Bookmark any page, and the app remembers where you stopped so you can pick the document back up later. Auto-scroll moves the page at a speed you set, for reading along hands-free.


EDIT AND SIGN

Draw freehand, highlight, underline or strike through text, and add your own notes anywhere on the page. Sign a document with your finger and place the signature exactly where it belongs. Your marks are written into the PDF itself, so they are still there when the file is opened somewhere else. The original is never overwritten — every edit is saved as a new copy.


SCAN AND RECOGNISE TEXT

Scan paper documents with the camera. Edges are detected automatically and the page is straightened for you. Text recognition then reads the words off the scan and writes them back into the PDF as a real text layer, so a scanned document becomes searchable and its text can be selected and copied — while the page still looks exactly like the scan.


CONVERT

Turn a PDF into images, or build a PDF from photos already on your phone. Every converter here runs offline. Convert a PDF to a Word document, or a Word document to a PDF. Because the work is done on the device, a private contract or a medical letter never leaves your hands.


ORGANISE AND PROTECT

Merge several PDFs into one, in the order you choose. Split the pages you need into separate files. Lock a document with a password using standard PDF encryption, and unlock one you already have the password for.


SUMMARISE AND TRANSLATE, ON THE DEVICE

Get the gist of a long document in seconds. The summary is built from the document's own sentences, each shown with the page it came from, so you can check anything before you rely on it — nothing is invented and nothing is sent anywhere. Translate a document into Spanish, Korean, Hindi, Portuguese or Japanese using a language pack that downloads once and then works offline too.


MANAGE YOUR FILES

Browse everything in one place, filtered by PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint. Star the documents you return to. Sort by name, date or size. Rename, delete, print or share straight from the list.


WORTH KNOWING BEFORE YOU START

PDF and Word conversion carries the text and paragraph breaks across, not the original layout, images or tables — there is no layout engine on a phone, which is why other apps do this on a server.

Text recognition and document scanning use Google Play services and work with Latin script.

Translation downloads a language pack of about 30 MB the first time you use a language. The app asks before it uses your data.


PRIVACY

This is an offline PDF reader and editor by design. There is no account and no sign-up. Your documents are not uploaded, and the app only ever sees the folder you point it at. You can withdraw that access at any time in Android settings.
