FireW@lly is a fictional adventure and educational game for children and teenagers, which is also a course on safe use of the Internet.
The player takes on the role of one of the main characters - W@lly or W@llia - who can save the digital metropolis from the attack of viruses and other intruders.
The tasks and quizzes included in the game concern issues such as: strong passwords, protection of personal data and online identity, fake news, harmful and illegal content, pathostreams.
The game consists of 37 missions, as well as attractive additions, including many mini-games and thematic quizzes that allow you to test and consolidate your knowledge. It's several hours of continuous gameplay.
FireW@lly is a non-violent game. It's free, but also completely safe - it doesn't download any data from your device - and it's ad-free. You can also play it offline!
FireW@lly has modern graphics and full sound. Each of the 14 characters speaks with the voice of a professional lector. The game has been designed taking into account accessibility requirements and adaptation to the needs of people with disabilities. It has options to change the contrast and color, read all interface elements, change the capitalization.
The game was created as part of the project "Educational and information campaigns to promote the benefits of using digital technologies", implemented by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, the NASK National Research Institute and the Copernicus Science Centre.
