UPDATED: I needed to turn on Location Services for the Bluetooth on my Galaxy S9 to conn. Once I did that, it was able to connect to the unit. The app works, but has some clunkiness: if you change the temp range, the screen greys out and you can't interact with anything until you hit your back button. ORIGINALLY: I've a Galaxy S9, running Android 10. I can't even connect to the thermometer. Shows no devices available when I try to sync. App triggers warnings from Android that its crashed.

Worst 150 bucks i have spent. I had it for 2 years. You would think they would update the app/firmware so you can at least open the app. Epic fail for an app because the app crashes when you connect to the probe. Setting the temp crashes the app. Leaving the app crashes the app. Crashing the app crashes the app. How is that a thing? When the app crashes you get stuck in a loop of trying to force the app to close.

USELESS ON THE BLUETOOTH SIDE OF THE PRODUCT!!! Once connected via bluetooth on my galaxy s8+ you can monitor temps. But as soon as you go out of the app during cooking and go back in to the app to look at the temps it does not recognize that the base is still there and makes you go back to the base to make it discoverable again to view temps remotely. The reason I bought this bluetooth thermometer was so that I didnt have to walk out to my smoker ten times to check temps during cooking.
