Radio Afrobolivia F.M. 93.7 with headquarters in the municipality of Coroico of the Nor Yungas Province of the Department of La Paz, emerges as a means of alternative radio communication from the Association Afrobolivian Center for Integral and Community Development (CADIC), aimed at consolidating the self-recognition of the People Afro-Bolivian and raise your self-esteem. Radio Afrobolivia F.M. 93.7 is a tool for the democratization of information, promotion of Rights for an intercultural coexistence; the same that assumes a fundamental role of educational socio-cultural, economic, political, environmental, human in harmony with Mother Earth.
Radio Afrobolivia, unlike other Bolivian radio stations, is an instrument that seeks to guarantee the incorporation of community and citizen actors as an active and driving force of actions oriented to the Living Well of nations and indigenous peoples, indigenous, intercultural communities and Afro-Bolivian and society as a whole.
One of the star programs of Radio Afrobolivia is "Roots Africanas", led by the unique character "Azuca Pal Cajue", which represents the spirit of Afro-Bolivian daily life. The program is broadcast every Friday from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. However, the Afrobolivia radio station has a varied programming 24 hours a day.
Our objective in the short term is to issue our signal internationally with the purpose of contributing to the articulation of the agenda of people of African descent in the diaspora.
