NavalGuru is a global maritime job platform that connects marine professionals with career opportunities worldwide. Seafarers can create a profile featuring their resume, certificates, and sea service history. They can also search for marine jobs across vessel types and ranks, shortlist openings, and directly apply for positions.

NavalGuru offers job postings from licensed maritime companies. Both crew and officers, across all ranks, can find relevant jobs whether onboard ships, in shore-based roles, or offshore.

NavalGuru allows seafarers to create their maritime resumes, including personal profiles, certificates, and sea service records. They can then choose from four design templates to generate and download their resumes in PDF format for future use.

NavalGuru includes unique communication features like in-app chat for candidate-company interactions. Seafarers may receive job offers detailing compensation and ship details, with the option to accept or reject. The streamlined apply function allows easy application submission to desired postings.

NavalGuru provides to the companies to create accounts, advertise jobs, and find suitable seafarers by checking their profiles. To verify the company’s eligibility, NavalGuru team will authorize the company’s profile as the final step of registration.

What’s new

Create your seafaring profile (Personal information, Contact details, Certifications, Sea Services) , then choose one of 4 different CV formats and download your resume file in PDF. You can also search for job opportunities posted by the marine companies and apply for them if you meet most of their criteria.
You may get job requests from companies directly; you have the option to accept or reject their offer.
