About this app

Radio Tuner and Player ONLY for the following Android Car Navigation Head Units:
- head units based on MTC/HTC firmware with cpu PX3, PX5, PX6 and PX30.
- head units based on TopWay platform with chipset Allwinner T3, T8, Intel SC9853 (TS9), UIS7862 (TS10) and UIS8581A(TS18), UIS7870(TS20).
- headunits based on FYT or DUDUOS firmware with chipset UIS7870, UIS7862, UIS8581, sc9853i
- head units with chipset S32F0 (better with rooted rom).
- head units based on ROCO K706/QF01-3-5 firmwares
- head units model K2001, K2401, K2501 e K4811
- headunits based on ZA001 firmware
It's not compatible with firmwares that are not based on TopWay, MTC, FYT, S32F0, ROCO K706 or K*** !

It's widely customizable in the graphics and layouts:
- Wallpapers: Presets (about 30), system wallpaper, solid color, from personal images
- Color themes (20 predefined or personal)
- Night mode on / off, timed or automatic with car lights (MTC only)
- Resizable text elements and Font choice
- 3 view modes:
Vertical List (Left/Right and5,6 or 6 buttons)
Horizontal Grid (1x5, 2x3, 2x4, 2x5, 3x3, 3x4, 3x5)
Fullscreen (accessible by double tap or timed)
- Selectable inactivity timer for fullscreen activation
- Toggable StatusBar in fullscreen mode
- Toggable Clock and GPS speed in fullscreen

- Automatic and manual assignement of Logo images to the stored radio stations based on RDS id and station name scraping.
- Logos can be downloaded from internet DIRECTLY IN THE APP or sideloaded.
- Station lists can be sorted by name or frequency and saved/restored in a Json format
- AM mode can be deactivated
- Notification Toast and metadata sending for integration with Agama, FCC, CarLauncher launchers etc ..

The radio functionality is fine. It's great to be able to select favorites--much better than stock radio that came with my Android head unit. The logos that are associated with stations are not always correct. I delete them, but they keep coming back—I can't get rid of them. Not all station logos show up on their database. I went online and pulled some off the net, saving them as JPEG files. The show up in the browser, but when selected and "saved," they don't show up. Frustrating.

I am extremely happy with the app and it functions and has features miles ahead of the factory installed radio app on my Android head unit. The support has been great and honest. There are so many forks of Android it is impossible for every version to be without some glitches so make sure your head unit is compatible. I don't know if I'd want a unit that wasn't compatible. Look the developer up and see how involved they are with support. You don't get that in the modern world.

Installed on an Atoto S8 standard and it is working perfectly. I have been looking for a replacement for the stock radio app for my head unit as that was the only thing I didn't like about it. Now that I have NavRadio+ installed I couldn't be happier. The reception is much better and the interface is clean and easy to read. The customization is incredible. The only negative that I see is in the description of the compatatible chipsets were a little confusing. Maybe listing compatible units.
