Take command of your vessel with NavImpulse, the sailboat tiller pilot designed for the modern sailor. This app is the central hub for monitoring and controlling your NavImpulse Autopilot hardware, bringing advanced navigation modes and safety features to your fingertips.

🧭 CORE NAVIGATION MODES
- Compass Mode: Maintains a fixed magnetic heading with high precision.
- Wind Mode: Connects via BLE to Calypso sensors or Wi-Fi NMEA gateways to maintain a precise Target Apparent Wind Angle (AWA).
- Navigation Mode (Waypoint): Provides precision guidance to selected waypoints with dynamic updates on distance (DTW) and remaining travel time (TTG).

📊REAL-TIME TELEMETRY & PERFORMANCE
- The integrated dashboard displays critical vessel dynamics:
Live Data: Heading (HDG), Speed Over Ground (SOG), Course Over Ground (COG), and Heel angle.
- Performance Metrics: Automatic VMG (Velocity Made Good) calculation to optimize your speed toward the wind or destination.

⌚️SMARTWATCH & VOICE CONTROL
- Garmin Integration: Use your Garmin watch as a secure wireless remote to tweak your course or monitor status from anywhere on deck.
- Voice Command: Adjust your heading hands-free, allowing you to keep your eyes on the horizon during critical maneuvers.
- Offline Privacy: All voice processing is handled 100% locally on your device—no internet required.

⚠️SAFETY FIRST
- Smart MOB Detection: If the smartwatch connection is lost, the system can trigger an alarm, mark GPS coordinates, and automatically turn the boat head-to-wind.
- Heading Alert System: Visual and audible alerts if the vessel deviates beyond your set "Port" and "Starboard" safety limits.
