One of the very important things in a Muslim’s life, which is the focus of his happiness in this world and the hereafter, is his intention by doing work for the sake of God Almighty, and anything other than that is in vain, and the reward resulting from actions is according to the intentions. Since the servant’s treatment of his Lord, Glory be to Him, is based on purposes, intentions, and secrets. (I’lam al-Muwaqeen 1/173), and whenever a servant’s intention is good and his sincerity to his deity is strong, rewards and blessings will be showered upon him from the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. With intention, habits turn into acts of worship. Also, recalling the largest number of intentions and goals brought about by the Sunnah increases the reward of the servant, and he receives it in return for the work. The easy is the great reward, and one of the masterpieces of books concerned with this aspect is the book (Intentions), which we are about to introduce.
