About this game

Thalynveil is a portrait-mode casual hooking mobile game that combines swing-arm aiming and charge-release hooking as core operations, delivering a tense yet replayable gold-mining experience. Players control a three-pronged hook attached to a crane on the left side, accurately grabbing treasures such as gold, silver, crystals, rubies, and chests within the mining area, while always staying alert to traps like mines and rocks, and accumulating high scores within a limited number of mistakes. Hold the screen to charge, and release to send the hook flying in the current swing direction, with distance and power varying by charge time. Targets like gold nuggets and gems move left and right within the mine, while rocks and chests are heavy and slow to pull; mines trigger an explosion and count as a mistake if hooked. Consecutive successful grabs stack combo bonuses; higher scores speed up wave progression, with swing speed and amplitude increasing simultaneously, raising the challenge step by step. The game supports an optional life mode, toggleable in the main menu to display 3 or 5 lives as hearts, and includes local high-score recording, pause-and-resume, and wave progress indicators. Rules are clear and easy to pick up, yet players must constantly weigh timing, angle, and risk—offering both accessible controls and strategic depth.
